Rudolf Kraj beats Olanda Anderson 13–12 in Sydney

Rudolf Kraj of the Czech Republic defeated American Olanda Anderson 13–12 in the men’s 81 kg light-heavyweight competition at the Sydney Olympics on 24 September 2000. The contest was bout 200 in Round 2, held during the afternoon session at Exhibition Halls 3 and 4.

Rudolf Kraj of the Czech Republic defeated American Olanda Anderson 13–12 in the men’s 81 kg light-heavyweight competition at the Sydney Olympics on 24 September 2000. The contest was bout 200 in Round 2, held during the afternoon session at Exhibition Halls 3 and 4.

Anderson’s military sport background

Anderson was a U.S. Army staff sergeant stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. He competed through the military’s athlete program and was among 15 military athletes on the United States Olympic team in Sydney.
