Privacy notice
What information is used, why it is used, who receives it and how to make a privacy request.
Publication and privacy contact
iintroo is an independent sports publication founded by Esra Kilic. Contact the editorial team about personal information at iintroo.official@gmail.com. This contact is for privacy requests, corrections and rights concerns.
This notice explains the website's current processing. It does not represent registration with a regulator or approval of the publication by a federation.
Information, purposes and collection methods
| Activity | Information and purpose | How it is obtained |
|---|---|---|
| Reading and security | Requests include an IP address, requested URL, time, browser headers and technical error information so hosting providers can deliver pages and protect the service. | Your browser and hosting infrastructure. These technical requests are distinct from optional statistics. |
| Following topics | Sport or profile selections stay in this browser. No following account or email is collected by this feature. | Your choice to press Follow; local storage on this device. |
| Privacy choices | Statistics/media choices, notice version and choice time are stored locally to apply and remember your decision. | Your selection in Privacy preferences. |
| Research discussions | A derived sign-in account identifier, display name, comment, reply relationship, timestamps, rules/notice version, reports and moderation history support publication and abuse prevention. Sign-in email is available to authenticated server requests but is not shown beside comments. iintroo does not receive your password. | Information from the sign-in provider and information you submit. |
| Optional statistics | Page path, broad referral category, day and count; sponsor campaign identifier, impression/click and count. Statistics events omit cookies, account identifiers, IP fields, full referring URLs and search queries. Hosting still receives the underlying network request. | Only after you allow Optional statistics. Events are stored as totals, not individual visitor profiles. |
| Contact and partnerships | Your email, name, correspondence and information you choose to provide are used to answer an enquiry, handle a correction or negotiate a partnership. Commercial records may include organisation, proposal, agreement and payment-reference details. | Email you send and private editorial records. The public site does not take card details or process an online order. |
| Editorial profiles and reporting | Names, professional roles, teams, achievements, public biographies and credited photographs explain sport and professional activity. | Dated public records, official sources, licensed material and information submitted for editorial review. A public source alone does not establish permission for every use. |
Legal grounds and limits
Optional statistics and external players depend on your separate choice and can be withdrawn. For necessary service delivery, security and moderation, the relevant ground under Article 5 of Law No. 6698 is a legitimate interest subject to your rights, or the establishment, exercise or protection of a right. Enquiries directly related to entering or performing an agreement use the contractual ground; legally required records use the legal-obligation ground.
Editorial use of personal information must remain necessary and proportionate to its public-interest purpose. Information deliberately made public by the person must be used consistently with that purpose. Copyright permission and a lawful personal-data ground are separate matters. Private health records, identity documents, home addresses and private contact details do not belong in comments or published profiles. No blanket consent is requested for unrelated future uses.
Recipients and external services
Website hosting and application delivery use Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure, including database and file storage. Authentication uses the existing sign-in provider. Google's email service handles messages sent to the published Gmail address. The editorial team can access private enquiries and moderation records. Approved names, comments, professional profiles and reporting are public and may be indexed or copied by other people.
Credited external images can involve requests to their image host. Instagram and YouTube players are loaded only after permission and a further Play action. Opening a source, social account or sponsor link takes you to that provider's site, where its own notices apply. The statistics feature does not build a visitor contact list or send private discussion account records to sponsors.
Service providers may operate outside your country. Permission to use an external player is not a substitute for any legally required safeguard for the publication's own international transfers. Provider contracts, processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements must be assessed separately; this notice does not claim a standard contract has been signed or filed.
Storage and retention
Privacy choices expire after 180 days; optional features then remain off until you choose again. Following selections remain until you remove them or clear browser storage. Technical browser caches follow asset cache lifetimes and can be cleared in your browser.
Approved comments remain while the discussion is published and the information is needed. Pending comments and moderation records remain for review, abuse prevention and the handling of disputes; they are not assigned a permanent retention purpose. Deleting your own comment clears its text immediately, while a minimal moderation record can remain. Contact the team to request review, access or deletion of participant information.
Enquiries and business records must be kept only for the enquiry, agreement, applicable statutory retention period or a specific legal claim. A legal hold can delay deletion of the affected record. Hosting, authentication and email providers have their own operational retention settings. This page does not promise an automated deletion schedule for records that the website does not automatically delete.
Your choices and rights
You can read the site without optional statistics, decline external players, remove followed topics and delete your own comments while signed in.
You may ask whether personal data is processed, request a copy and information about its purpose and recipients, seek correction or deletion where the legal conditions apply, request that corrections/deletions be communicated to recipients, object to a detrimental result based solely on automated analysis and seek compensation for unlawful processing. See KVKK rights and request instructions.
Where other applicable privacy law provides additional rights, those rights are unaffected. No waiver of a statutory right is required to read the website.
Children, health and moderation
Reading educational material does not require an account. Do not submit a child's private details, patient records or identifying case histories. Public reporting about young athletes must avoid private contact and location information. Research cases are educational and de-identified, and every comment is reviewed before publication.
Reports of exposed personal information or a security issue can be sent privately to the contact above. Include the affected page and a short description, without sending passwords, medical files or unnecessary identity-document copies.
