Nicolò Bulega opens WorldSBK with a Phillip Island hat-trick
The Italian rider won all three races and left Australia with a 20-point championship lead.

Nicolò Bulega won Race 1, the Superpole Race and Race 2 at Phillip Island. He led all but three laps across the weekend and opened a 20-point championship advantage.
The third victory was his 23rd in WorldSBK and moved him ahead of Marco Melandri among Italian race winners.
