AFCON final: the January result and the ruling that changed it
Senegal won 1-0 after extra time on the field; a 17 March CAF Appeals Board ruling later recorded a 3-0 forfeit in Morocco's favour.

On 18 January, Senegal defeated host Morocco 1-0 after extra time in Rabat, with Pape Gueye scoring in the 93rd minute. CAF reported that on-field result on the night of the final.
The official status later changed. On 17 March, the CAF Appeals Board applied Article 84, declared Senegal to have forfeited the final and recorded a 3-0 result for Morocco. The match result and the later governing-body decision are therefore shown separately with their dates.
