Nick Cassidy charges from 13th to win in Mexico City

Cassidy gained 12 places to deliver Citroën's first Formula E victory in only the manufacturer's second world-championship race.

Nick Cassidy timed both Attack Mode activations through a tightly grouped field and rose from 13th on the grid to first at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Edoardo Mortara finished second and reigning champion Oliver Rowland completed the podium.

The result was Citroën Racing's first Formula E win, achieved in the team's second race in the championship. Cassidy left Mexico City leading the drivers' standings on 40 points after four victories across his previous five Formula E starts.
