The World Anti-Doping Agency's 2026 Prohibited List took effect on 1 January. It is the current international standard identifying substances and methods prohibited at all times, in competition or in particular sports.

For athletes, doctors, pharmacists, coaches and team managers, the operational consequence is simple: medication checks must use the 2026 record and relevant national anti-doping tools. A previous-season screenshot or memory of a product is not a reliable compliance process.
