Kiplimo and Ngetich lead a global cross-country day
Jacob Kiplimo won a historic third senior men's world cross-country title and Agnes Ngetich continued Kenya's senior women's streak.

Tallahassee hosted the World Athletics Cross Country Championships on 10 January with 485 athletes entered from 52 federations. Uganda's Jacob Kiplimo won a third consecutive senior men's title, while Kenya's Agnes Ngetich took the senior women's race.
The programme also included under-20 races and a mixed relay. Kenya finished at the top of the medal table with nine medals, including three golds, while Ethiopia and Uganda each won multiple titles across the day.
