Life and work
The story behind the role.
Adem Çalı completed physiotherapy and rehabilitation education at Hacettepe University in 2004, later undertaking osteopathy training in Essen, a musculoskeletal rehabilitation master’s degree at Dokuz Eylül University and a physiotherapy doctorate at Bahçeşehir University. He cofounded DOiT Health & Sports in 2014.
His career includes Vestel Manisaspor, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor, Turkish youth football teams, women’s national basketball, skiing and sailing. DOiT records a medical-support responsibility for Türkiye’s delegation at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. His academic work includes research on low-back pain in professional football, university teaching and Turkish translation editing for Anatomy Trains. The clinic also records vice-presidential service at the Turkish Physiotherapists Association.
