Amanda Jacks
Supporter-rights advocate whose casework connected football fans with specialist advice on policing, stewarding and matchday disputes.

Life and work
The story behind the role.
Amanda Jacks is an English football supporter-rights advocate whose route into national representation began with the Stand Up Sit Down safe-standing campaign at West Ham United. The Football Supporters' Association records that she then joined the Football Supporters' Federation's National Council and began concentrating on policing and stewarding issues around 2007.
Working under the 'Fair Cop' identity, Jacks developed casework that linked supporters with legal advice and representation. The FSA's 2023 retrospective says this work assisted hundreds of fans over roughly a decade and a half and contributed to challenges involving football-specific policing powers, banning-order applications and matchday treatment.
The Football Supporters' Federation merged with Supporters Direct to form the Football Supporters' Association in the 2018-19 season. Jacks continued as an FSA caseworker before leaving that staff role in 2023 for other work in football; the directory therefore treats that employment as historical rather than current.
Advocate known for casework supporting fans in disputes and matchday incidents.
