Physiotherapists
Aşkın Dede
Sports physiotherapist with club and Türkiye national-team experience.
Life and work
The story behind the role.
Aşkın Dede is listed in Galatasaray’s current men’s basketball staff as a physiotherapist. A July 2026 Turkish Basketball Federation squad announcement also identified him as the Galatasaray MCT Technic physiotherapist selected for the Türkiye senior women’s national-team support staff.
Sportomed’s professional biography records that Dede graduated from Hacettepe University’s Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. It documents earlier appointments with Fenerbahçe from 1998 to 2006, Beşiktaş’s senior football team from 2008 to 2016 and Türkiye’s senior football national team from 2012 to 2016.
The same biography identifies Dede as a Sportomed founding member in 1997 and a founding member of the Sports Physiotherapists Association. Because its statement about his current club predates the 2026 Galatasaray and federation records, the current appointment here follows the newer dated primary sources.
