Aydın Orhan graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law, completed postgraduate work in maritime and insurance law and earned a doctorate in communication at the same university. He has practised as an independent lawyer in Istanbul since 1982.
The federation lists Orhan among the reserve members of its Board of Directors, linking his legal and maritime specialisms to sailing governance.
