Ayşegül Baklacı is listed as the Turkish Athletics Federation’s vice-president responsible for its technical board, checked on 4 October 2026. Athlete Tuğba Danışmaz explicitly links Baklacı’s current administration to her earlier triple-jump career in a published interview.
Baklacı’s sporting record includes bronze in the triple jump at the 2001 Balkan Indoor Championships in Piraeus, listed in the federation’s medal archive.
Her subsequent federation work includes coach education. In February 2025, she introduced an Istanbul seminar on combined-events development and training periodisation attended by 50 coaches, presenting it as part of a continuing education programme.
