Bijan Firouzan played midfield for Gettysburg College and represented Türkiye at the 2014 world championship in Denver. The national roster names him as Bijan Joseph Firouzan and identifies Gettysburg, linking his college and international records.
Before college, he played at Mt. Lebanon High School, where he was a two-time All-American and a team captain for two years. Gettysburg’s 2015 biography lists philosophy as his major and business as his minor.
He contributed 10 goals and 14 assists as a college freshman in 2012, then 20 goals and 17 assists in 2013. He earned USILA honorable-mention All-America recognition in 2013 and 2014, and first-team All-Centennial Conference recognition in 2014. In that 2014 college season he recorded 23 goals and 12 assists.
World Lacrosse’s Denver reporting records three goals and four assists in Türkiye’s 9–4 win over Mexico. It also records two goals and four assists in the 11–2 victory against Costa Rica.
