Life and work
The story behind the role.
Cem Çetin graduated in medicine from Ankara University in 1997 and completed sports medicine specialty training there in 2001. His specialty thesis investigated the relationship between knee-joint laxity and proprioception in football players.
His Süleyman Demirel University record documents an assistant professorship beginning in 2003, associate-professor service during 2006–2011 and a professorship from 2011. It also records leadership of the university’s Faculty of Health Sciences during 2016–2019 and a subsequent dean entry in the Faculty of Sports Sciences. His professional history connects medical education, sports injury research and university sport-science administration.
