Cengiz Dinç was one of the physicians directing Türkiye's national football team's sports medicine and performance department ahead of Euro 2008.
A Turkish Football Federation interview describes his involvement in pre-tournament medical preparation and coordination with club doctors. He also co-authored a 2011 study of injuries in the national team over the 2000–05 period, with an affiliation to Istanbul's physical medicine and rehabilitation training hospital.
