Life and work
The story behind the role.
Gürleyik earned a psychology degree at Koç University in 2006, a sport-and-exercise psychology master’s at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2012, and a Michigan State University doctorate. Özyeğin’s faculty biography dates the doctorate to 2016 and records her arrival in its Psychology Department in 2018.
Her academic work studies exercise motivation, physical-activity promotion and health. Korto’s professional biography records Michigan State teaching-assistant work during 2012–16, teaching at several Turkish universities and sports-psychology work with Fenerbahçe football from 2019. Korto describes support for both individual and team-sport athletes.
