The story behind the role.
Emre Ozan Tingaz is an exercise and sport psychology researcher; mspe trainer. Emre Ozan Tingaz studied physical education and sports teaching at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (2008–2012), then completed a Gazi master’s (2012–2014) and doctorate (2014–2018).
Emre Ozan Tingaz completed a second master’s, in psychology, at Çağ University in 2018–2020. Gazi’s career record lists research-assistant work from 2012, associate professorship in 2021–2026 and professorship from 2026.
Founded Gazi’s Exercise and Sport Psychology Laboratory and teaches sport psychology at undergraduate and graduate levels. His biography reports research periods at Masaryk and Porto universities and certification by the Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement programme’s founders. Research includes athlete mindfulness and self-compassion; his adaptation of an athlete mindfulness measure received a psychosocial oral-presentation award at the 17th International Sport Sciences Congress.
