Life and work
The story behind the role.
Giovanni Miale was born in Taranto in 1977 and graduated from the University of Urbino. VakıfBank records conditioning roles from 2000 onward with Gioia del Colle, Prisma Taranto, Gabeca Montichiari, Modena, Asseco Resovia, Gabeca Monza, Zarechie Odintsovo and Jastrzębski Węgiel.
At national-team level he worked with Slovakia in 2008, Italy in 2009–10, Poland from 2011 to 2013, the Türkiye men's team from 2014 to 2021 and the South Korea women's team from 2022. Since joining VakıfBank in September 2015, he has been part of staffs that won four CEV Champions Leagues, three Club World Championships, five Turkish leagues, four Kupa Voley titles and two Champions Cups.
