Hasan Abanoz
sport-health researcher and university centre deputy director with training-science education.
Life and work
The story behind the role.
Hasan Abanoz is an associate professor at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He completed a physical-education teaching degree at Kütahya Dumlupınar University in 1999, postgraduate study in training and performance at the German Sport University Cologne in 2009, and a doctorate in physical-education teaching at Sakarya University in 2020.
His doctoral work examined massage alongside life and sleep quality, and his institutional profile places his research in sport health sciences. The health topic is not treated as evidence of physiotherapy, medicine or another regulated clinical licence.
The university records Abanoz as a centre deputy director from 2018. That explicit appointment supports an administrator role alongside his academic and research work.
