Kaan Onat is a Turkish basketball guard listed on UT Martin's 2026–27 men's roster as a freshman from Istanbul. The university records that he arrived after playing within the Anadolu Efes organisation and finishing the 2024–25 season with Anka Spor.

At the 2024 FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup in Istanbul, Onat averaged 18.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists across seven games as Türkiye finished third. He was selected to the tournament's All-Star Five after performances that included 32 points against Argentina and 16 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in the quarter-final win over Spain.
