Louise Burke is a sports dietitian and professor at Australian Catholic University's Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research. ACU records that she was appointed Chair in Sports Nutrition in 2014 and moved into the role full-time in 2020 after a long career combining athlete counselling, research and education.
Burke previously led sports nutrition at the Australian Institute of Sport. ACU documents her service as team dietitian for five consecutive Australian Olympic teams from 1996 through 2012 and her work at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, separating those dated appointments from her current university position.

Louise Mary Burke (born 1959) is an Australian sports dietitian, academic and author. She was the head of sports nutrition at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) throughout its existence from 1990 to 2018 and in 2018 was appointed Chief of AIS Nutrition Strategy. Since 2014, she holds the chair in sports nutrition in the Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research, Australian Catholic University.
