Administrators
Murat Mürtezaoğlu
Long-serving Beşiktaş basketball administrator and current men's-team manager.
Life and work
The story behind the role.
Murat Mürtezaoğlu is the manager of Beşiktaş's men's first-team basketball programme. His documented relationship with the club predates the current staff cycle: a Beşiktaş notice from June 2006 named him as the person responsible for the club's basketball summer school.
In February 2024, Beşiktaş recorded Mürtezaoğlu representing the club alongside general manager Nedim Yücel at the Turkish Cup quarter-final draw. The current staff directory continues to list him in the administrative team, with an official portrait.
The record supports a long-running administrative career across development programming and senior-team operations. No coaching or playing role is assigned without additional evidence.
