The story behind the role.
Öykü Gencer completed İstinye University’s English-language physiotherapy and rehabilitation program. During her education she spent three seasons as a physiotherapy intern at VakıfBank Sports Club. Her own background includes eleven years as a licensed volleyball player.
In 2024 she served as second physiotherapist with Türkiye’s senior women’s rugby team at an international Championship-level event. Her continuing education includes a Harvard human-anatomy course, taping and exercise prescription, and a Turkish Gymnastics Federation-approved Pilates instructor certificate. PT Academy lists her in İzmir and records her work as a Physiotutors Türkiye representative from 2024, alongside continuing osteopathy education at Osteopatie Schule Deutschland.
