Life and work

The story behind the role.

Poyraz Tuncer graduated in physiotherapy and rehabilitation from Yeditepe University, writing his undergraduate thesis on swimmers. PT Academy’s biography records further sports physiotherapy study at Yeditepe at the master’s thesis stage. His sporting career included thirteen years as a licensed Fenerbahçe swimmer and four years with Türkiye’s national swimming team.

After graduation he focused on athlete rehabilitation, drawing on clinical placements in sports, orthopedic, pediatric and neurological settings. With PT Academy, he has provided physiotherapy at running, cycling and triathlon events. His professional training includes manual therapy, taping, functional exercise and Hylyght injury-risk assessment. His clinical interests include injury prevention, orthopedic rehabilitation and athlete development.
