Life and work
The story behind the role.
Selçuk Görgülü is listed by the Türkiye Rugby Federation as deputy president and vice president responsible for flag football on its current board page, reviewed on 10 October 2026.
The board appointment gives Selçuk Görgülü a documented national governing-body responsibility within flag football; it does not by itself establish an unlisted playing, coaching or officiating career.
The federation's September 2024 election reporting independently places this name on the board elected with president Nahit Şahin.
In a 4 May 2025 Anadolu Agency interview, Görgülü described the flag-football programme's preparation for its first European Championship appearance and set targets for the Paris tournament and the 2026 world-championship pathway.
