Selmin Cansu Demir is a lecturer and legal-clinics coordinator at Özyeğin University’s Faculty of Law, which records her joining on 1 August 2016. BİLGİ names her as an instructor on its child-protection-in-sport certificate programme.
She graduated in law from Marmara University in 2008, completed a human-rights-law master’s degree at İstanbul Bilgi University and earned a doctorate through İstanbul University–Cerrahpaşa’s forensic-sciences institute. Her doctoral thesis concerned children’s rights in criminal proceedings.
Her professional work includes independent legal practice, mediation and research on children’s law, gender equality, criminal law and family law.
