Life and work
The story behind the role.
Semih Alagöz is a Türkiye hockey athlete whose sporting career has developed alongside architecture study. The Ministry of Youth and Sports identifies him as a national field hockey player and a TOBB University architecture student in its national athlete scholarship programme.
On 19 February 2021, the Türkiye Hockey Federation reported that Alagöz had gained a place in architecture at TOBB University of Economics and Technology through the scholarship programme and had attended its national launch event.
The federation’s 17 June 2022 announcement named him in the men’s U21 national-team candidate squad and recorded his club as Alanya Yıldızları.
The ministry subsequently featured his combined sporting and academic experience through TRT Spor Yıldız’s Adım Adım programme. Its official story explicitly connects his hockey identity with study in the Architecture Department of TOBB ETÜ’s Faculty of Architecture and Design.
