The story behind the role.
Şerife Vatansever heads the Coaching Education Department at Bursa Uludağ University. Her academic record traces a transition from Ministry of National Education teaching in 2000–2004 to lecturing at Abant İzzet Baysal University in 2004–2010 and an assistant professorship there in 2010–2015. She joined Bursa Uludağ as an associate professor in 2015 and became professor in 2020.
She completed her undergraduate physical-education studies at Uludağ in 2000, a coaching-education master’s degree at Abant İzzet Baysal in 2003, and her doctorate there in 2008. Her teaching covers exercise physiology and metabolism. Supervised work includes physical fitness and attention in children, exercise and appetite regulation, and exercise-related neurogenesis and cognition in older adults.
