The story behind the role.
Tahir Hazır is a professor in Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Sport Sciences. His academic background began with basic and industrial microbiology at Ege University before he moved into sport sciences and technology for postgraduate study at Hacettepe.
His master’s dissertation concerned oxygen consumption during eccentric and concentric muscle contraction. His doctorate examined the validity and reliability of shuttle-running tests for endurance assessment.
