Life and work
The story behind the role.
A March 2015 TFF interview documents his return to international refereeing after losing his FIFA badge at the end of 2012.
He described the additional physical and psychological preparation involved in regaining that status, and how experience changed his approach to planning a refereeing career.
The interview also examines the demands of the additional-assistant-referee role, including monitoring incidents away from the ball and maintaining consistent decisions across a six-official team.
