Life and work
The story behind the role.
Yağmur Güler’s work connects physical-education teacher development with safeguarding. She is named in Ankara University’s child-protection project and the Turkish Table Tennis Federation’s child-protection committee.
In 2023 she completed doctoral research on physical-education teacher identities and mentors, supervised by Semiyha Tuncel. With Damla Güler, she coauthored a study published on 30 June 2024 examining child abuse in schools from physical-education teachers’ perspectives.
The 2025 project roster identifies her as a researcher in coach education for child protection.
