What the publication reports
Eleven articles published between 2013 and 2025 were included. Lower-limb injuries predominated; tendinopathy and sprains were frequently reported, although estimates varied widely.
Limits and interpretation
Injury definitions and study methods limit comparisons. Describing injury patterns does not prove a prevention programme works. The paper appeared online on 2 December 2025 and in a 2026 journal issue.
