What the publication reports
Five studies published in 2023–2025 evaluated varied hormonal, recovery, mindfulness, nutrition and pain-management approaches. Some symptom or perceived recovery outcomes improved, while objective performance findings were inconsistent.
Limits and interpretation
The evidence is small and methodologically heterogeneous. Symptom relief should not be equated with enhanced athletic performance; the review cannot support strong performance-related treatment recommendations.
