What the publication reports
The working groups address clinical, cardiorespiratory, neuromusculoskeletal, nutritional, mental-health, sleep, concussion and female-athlete considerations. The framework recognises that medical history, adaptive equipment and access barriers can affect assessment.
Limits and interpretation
An expert framework is not a validated universal prediction tool. Assessments need to be adapted to the individual athlete and impairment.
