What the publication reports
Most evidence addressed body structures, seating and equipment interfaces. The review included seven quantitative studies, one mixed-methods study and two guidance documents, but the guidance relied on little sport-specific evidence.
Limits and interpretation
This review maps an underdeveloped field rather than proving an effective prevention protocol. Activity demands, participation and environmental factors were poorly represented. Searches ended in August 2025, and athletes or community members were not involved in conducting the review.
