What the publication reports
The overall pooled results did not find statistically significant differences in injury risk or injury rate. A separate post hoc analysis of supervised interventions favoured the exercise groups.
Limits and interpretation
The supervised-programme result is exploratory. It should not replace the overall finding or be interpreted as proof that supervision alone causes a reduction in injury.
