France beat Scotland 35–16 to secure Six Nations championship
Two tries from Yoram Moefana helped France turn a three-point half-time lead into the victory that sealed their first championship since 2022.

France complete the title win
France won the 2025 men's Six Nations championship on 15 March by defeating Scotland 35–16 at Stade de France. Yoram Moefana scored twice, while Louis Bielle-Biarrey and Thomas Ramos supplied the other French tries. The bonus-point victory completed France's first title campaign since 2022.
Scotland kept the contest close through the first half, trailing only 16–13 at the interval. France then scored three tries after the break to establish the final 19-point margin. The official Scottish report listed an attendance of 80,000 and named Moefana player of the match, recognising a performance that included both France's opening try and the score that completed their four-try return.
A tight first half
Ramos opened the scoring with a penalty and Moefana crossed in the 19th minute after an offload from Gaël Fickou. France moved into a 10–0 lead, but Scotland responded through Finn Russell's kicking and a try from Darcy Graham. Graham's converted score brought the teams within three points.
Russell subsequently levelled at 13–13 before another Ramos penalty restored France's advantage. Scotland also thought Tom Jordan had scored before the interval, but the move was ruled out after a check showed Blair Kinghorn had touched the sideline. The half-time score therefore reflected a period in which Scotland had recovered from the initial French lead and created another possible scoring opportunity.
Second-half tries settle the contest
Bielle-Biarrey scored early in the second half after Romain Ntamack collected a loose Scottish pass and advanced up the field. Ramos converted for a 23–13 lead. Russell's penalty narrowed that gap to seven, but France then created the decisive separation through their third and fourth tries.
Ramos crossed in the 57th minute and converted his own score, taking France to 30–16. Moefana added his second try in the 62nd after work by Bielle-Biarrey. Scotland continued to look for openings, with their replacements attempting to score from close range, but France prevented further points. The match centre recorded no additional scoring before the final whistle.
Individual records and Scotland's finish
The French success also carried individual milestones. Bielle-Biarrey finished the championship with eight tries, surpassing the previous seven-try mark for the Six Nations era. The competition's subsequent player-award announcement identified that record as part of his campaign. His try against Scotland completed a scoring contribution in every round.
Ramos became France's leading Test points scorer during the match, passing Frédéric Michalak's previous total of 436. His club's official account recorded a new total of 450 at the end of that 2025 fixture. Scotland's annual report placed the defeat in their final championship record: fourth place with two victories from five games. France's win thus determined both the championship winner and the closing result of Scotland's campaign. France's four tries also delivered the bonus point available for that scoring threshold. The championship match ended with the hosts keeping Scotland scoreless through the remaining period after Moefana's second try.
