Bayern Women sign Ivory Coast captain Bernadette Amani

Bayern Women signed Bernadette Amani from CD Tenerife Femenino with immediate effect. The 28-year-old Ivory Coast captain agreed a contract through 30 June 2029, adding an experienced defensive midfielder to the German double winners’ squad.
Amani began her career with Onze Sœurs de Gagnoa before moving to Spain in 2019. Her subsequent clubs included DUX Logroño and SD Eibar, followed by Tenerife, where she had made thirteen league appearances that season, twelve of them as a starter.
Bayern’s football leadership highlighted her tackling, passing and ability to sustain a high intensity. Amani said her priority was to integrate quickly and contribute to team success as the Munich club prepared for the second half of its campaign.
