World Aquatics confirms concurrent elite and Masters schedule
The Budapest 2027 programme brought the two world championships into the same hosting period.

World Aquatics confirmed the Budapest 2027 World Championships for 26 June–18 July, with elite and Masters programmes staged concurrently. The January announcement supplied discipline dates for athletes, federations and organisers planning the following season.
Elite water polo was scheduled for 26 June–9 July, diving for 26 June–4 July, open water for 3–8 July and high diving for 8–11 July. Pool swimming followed on 10–18 July and artistic swimming on 10–17 July.
Masters competitions occupied overlapping windows, including swimming on 3–9 July and water polo on 11–17 July. Duna Arena was assigned diving and artistic swimming, while swimming and water polo were set for MVM Dome. The announcement established plans, rather than results or realised attendance.
