World Climbing and the Chinese Mountaineering Association confirmed four Chinese hosts, completing a thirteen-event World Climbing Series schedule across boulder, lead and speed.

Keqiao was assigned the opening boulder competition on 1–3 May, followed by lead and speed in Wujiang on 8–10 May. Guiyang on 11–13 September and Chongqing on 18–20 September were scheduled for speed, including relay and mixed relay competitions.

Chongqing returned after hosting World Cups between 2012 and 2019. The Para Series had four confirmed events, while a possible fifth remained under investigation. That prospective addition was not a confirmed fixture in the January announcement.
