Georgia Stanway to leave Bayern at the end of the season
The England midfielder will complete her current contract before ending a successful spell in Munich.

FC Bayern Women announced that Georgia Stanway will leave when her contract expires at the end of the season. The midfielder informed the club that she would not renew, bringing a defined endpoint to a partnership that began in 2022.
Stanway’s Bayern career had already delivered three Bundesliga championships, a DFB Cup and two Supercup titles. Director Bianca Rech thanked her for her contribution and said the club would continue supporting her through the remaining months of the campaign.
The England international described the decision as difficult after a rewarding period in Munich. Her immediate focus remained on the current squad, with Stanway aiming to add as many trophies as possible before departing.
