IRFU and Dublin Rape Crisis Centre launch consent workshops
Five free online workshops will address respect, consent and allyship in rugby.

The IRFU partnered with Dublin Rape Crisis Centre to deliver workshops on respect, consent and allyship in rugby. The programme is designed for people across the game, including players, coaches, volunteers and administrators from the four provinces.
Five free online sessions were scheduled between January and March, each running for ninety minutes from 6.30pm. The announced dates were January 27, February 9, February 25, March 10 and March 24, giving participants several opportunities to attend.
Workshop topics include gender stereotypes, myths surrounding sexual violence, consent and ways to support others. The programme also introduces relevant support resources and encourages participants to consider their role in the rugby community’s culture, with participation open across genders and roles.
