IRFU schedules networking session on postpartum rugby
A free online event connects experiences of returning to rugby after childbirth.

The IRFU announced a free women’s rugby networking event for January 28 at 7pm. The online session focuses on postpartum rugby, nutrition and female health, inviting people across the rugby community to discuss experiences of returning to participation.
Former Ulster player and current Cooke player Sorcha Mac Laimhín will contribute her perspective on balancing a return to rugby with two children and a full-time job. She is also involved in the sport through her IRFU volunteer role.
Former Ulster and Cooke player Teah Morton will discuss returning as a referee after becoming a mother. The event is open to players, coaches, referees, volunteers and administrators of all genders, extending the conversation beyond those currently playing the game.
