The Roma Road Runners Club cancelled the 32nd Corri per la Befana, which had been scheduled for 6 January. FIDAL Lazio reported the decision on 5 January following a municipal order issued because of worsening weather and an orange civil protection alert across Rome.

Club president Patrizio Mancini said the organisers had to comply with the order to protect participants. The event was organised under FIDAL authority with support from Roma Capitale.

Mancini acknowledged the inconvenience to registered runners and said the cancellation followed the authorities’ instructions. The club indicated that any further updates would be communicated in the following weeks.
