World Athletics ratified seven senior world records and one world U20 record on 23 July. Ratification is the formal confirmation stage, separate from the earlier dates on which the performances were achieved.

The confirmed marks included Sabastian Sawe’s 1:59:30 marathon and Tigst Assefa’s 2:15:41 women-only marathon in London on 26 April. Other records were Mondo Duplantis’s 6.31m pole vault, Simon Ehammer’s 6670 heptathlon and Devynne Charlton’s equal 7.65 in the 60m hurdles.

The remaining approvals covered Khaleb McRae’s 44.52 short-track 400m, Yan Ziyi’s 71.74m U20 javelin and a US short-track 4x800m team’s 7:10.29. This article records the collective July approval, rather than republishing each original competition report as a new event.
