UCI invites applications for 2026 sustainability awards
Four award categories will recognise social, environmental and everyday cycling projects.
Source publication date:
The UCI launched applications for the third edition of its Cycling for All and Sustainability Awards. The scheme recognises initiatives from riders, teams, federations, organisers and Bike Cities or Regions that encourage cycling or deliver social and environmental benefits.
The four categories remain Cycling for All, Climate Action, Bike City and Rainbow. The first rewards social impact, the second environmental progress, and the third innovation among recognised cycling cities and regions. The Rainbow award is selected at the federation’s discretion.
An expert jury will choose the recipients. The UCI plans to announce the winners during its Mobility and Bike City Forum in Athens on 10 and 11 May, linking the awards with its annual gathering on active mobility.
