Three riders were announced for a separate Afghan classification in the time trial and road race.
Event date:
The UCI announced that the 2026 Afghan Women’s Road Championships would be held within the French Elite Road Championships in Les Vals du Dauphiné–La Tour-du-Pin. The programme specified a time trial on 25 June and a road race on 27 June.
Fariba Hashimi, Zahra Rezayee and Samira Ehrari were the three riders announced. They would compete alongside French riders, with a separate classification determining the Afghan national titles. The time trial measured 29.7 kilometres and the road race 111.4 kilometres.
The UCI World Cycling Centre offered travel, accommodation and race support for the athletes and staff. This report preserves the confirmed event arrangements and participation announcement; the source does not provide the 2026 finishing order, so no champion is assigned here.
