Athletics Integrity Unit publishes three betting sanctions
The AIU announced decisions involving Aurore Fleury, Henrik Janssen and Steven Richter under the sport's event-betting rules.

The Athletics Integrity Unit published three disciplinary outcomes connected to betting on athletics competitions. French middle-distance runner Aurore Fleury received a six-month period of ineligibility, which the AIU recorded as running from 1 September 2025, alongside a financial penalty directed to charity.
German discus throwers Henrik Janssen and Steven Richter each received a three-month suspended period of ineligibility. Reporting the published decisions together shows how the integrity rules apply beyond anti-doping and why athletes and support teams need sport-specific education on betting restrictions.
