Kalinga Lancers win the men's Hockey India League title at home
Alexander Hendrickx scored twice as the Lancers defeated Ranchi Royals 3-2 in front of their home crowd in Bhubaneswar.

Vedanta Kalinga Lancers beat Ranchi Royals 3-2 in the men's Hockey India League final at Kalinga Hockey Stadium. Alexander Hendrickx scored in the fourth and 27th minutes, with Dilpreet Singh adding the Lancers' other goal.
Araijeet Singh Hundal equalised early for Ranchi and Tom Boon scored in the 59th minute, but the home side protected its advantage. Boon finished as the tournament's top scorer with 19 goals and Amandeep Lakra was named player of the tournament.
