Lou Jeanmonnot converts pursuit pressure into a Ruhpolding win

The French biathlete won the 10 km pursuit in 29:26.6, finishing 10.5 seconds ahead of sprint winner Hanna Öberg.

Lou Jeanmonnot won the women's 10 km pursuit in Ruhpolding in 29:26.6. Starting eight seconds behind sprint winner Hanna Öberg, she moved to the front after a clean first prone stage and carried the lead through the final loop.

Jeanmonnot missed once at the final standing shoot but finished 10.5 seconds ahead of Öberg. Camille Bened completed the podium 12.9 seconds back after shooting clean, giving France first and third in a race where skiing and range execution had to be read together.
